Obnoxious Report!  We reported earlier this week that business mogul Russel Simmons made the executive decision to step down from his businesses following sexual assault accusations against him. Following his announcement,…Thing are heating up.  Since Harvey Weinstein it has been a windfall of allegations from politicians, entertainers, and news reporters that is absolutely mind blowing.  Has this been the deal all the time and no one brave enough to talk about it.  However, it does not seem fair for someone to loose a life time career over an allegation.    These men might should have been suspended, placed on leave during an investigation, but not fired just because someone says something that could be an actual lie!
We here at Obnoxious Media reported earlier this week that business mogul Russel Simmons made the executive decision to step down from his businesses following sexual assault accusations against him.
Following his announcement, HBO leaked their decision to remove his name from the upcoming show “All Def Comedy,” which is scheduled to premiere on Friday.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, an HBO spokesman said, “HBO will be airing All Def Comedy as planned. However, Russell Simmons will not appear in the new series and we will be removing his name from the show moving forward. The series is a platform for promising and upcoming comedians and we do not want to deprive them of an opportunity to showcase their talents to a national audience. We have no other projects with Russell Simmons.”
