On Tuesday, December 20, against the Utah Jazz, the team will honor Warriors legend Nate Thurmond—who passed away on July 16, 2016, at the age of 74—with his own Limited Edition Bobblehead Night at Oracle Arena (tip-off 7:30 p.m.). This date marks the 50th anniversary (December 20, 1966) of Thurmond recording 24 rebounds in one half against the Los Angeles Lakers, which remains a Warriors West Coast franchise record. In addition to the Bobblehead giveaway, fans will also have the opportunity to take pictures with a life-sized Nate Thurmond Bobblehead on the Oracle Arena main concourse, outside Section 112.
